It all began in 1971, when a young and ambitious Raichandbhai Haria, recognised the potential in walnuts and set out to turn that insight into a business. Armed with a vision to bring the finest nuts and dryfruits to India, he founded Indian Dryfruits Traders. But Raichandbhai wasn’t just any businessman—he was a pioneer, always seeking the best of the world’s offerings. His quest for quality led him to go beyond walnuts and curate a selection of premium Afghan products like Anjeer (Dried Figs), Kishmish (Raisins), Jardalu (Dried Apricots), Kali Drakhs (Black Raisins) and Pine Nuts. He also added Charoli (Almondette), cultivated in the heart of India, to his company’s distinctive portfolio.
A visionary at heart, Raichandbhai’s love for quality extended to every facet of his work. He didn’t just trade products; he revolutionized the Indian raisins industry by successfully marketing Indian raisins, helping them gain recognition across the country. His focus on quality sourcing, fair dealing, and dependable delivery earned him lasting trust across the supply chain, establishing a solid base for the company’s growth.
